I finished my Cauchy socks from a few weeks back, so that’s one UFO gone! I wish I had a photo to share, but I still need to…ahem…locate the first sock in the pair. I know it’s around here somewhere, but I think it’s in the black hole room of the apartment (everybody has one of those, right?).
All of my non-UFO projects are pretty big right now (and I really need to post an update about them, but that’s for another day), so I think another sock UFO sounds great right about now. And, lucky for me, I have plenty of sock UFOs!
This round’s sock is Sunshine, another sock from my 2009 Sock Innovation project.

Reason for abandonment: I was knitting all of the socks from the book to prepare for a summer class, so I’m sure I turned my attention to the next design.
Assessment: Unlike Cauchy, I haven’t even started working on the second sock, so I have a little more work to do here. Luckily, it’s probably the only truly portable project that I’m actively working on this week, so it should see some action.
