Tree of Death
If you’re into Disney, you know that there’s a “Tree of Life” in the Animal Kingdom that features animals carved into it’s trunk. You can walk around on the paths to see all sides of it and there’s even a show inside of the tree, so you have a great view while you’re waiting in line. However, there’s another tree in the Asia section of the Animal Kingdom that my family likes to call the tree of death. It’s branches are gnarled and it has few, if any, leaves to show any sign of life.
Right now my cherry blossom bag is looking an awful lot like the tree of death. I love the way I could manipulate the branches for an old, weathered effect, but without the flowers it looks awfully…well…dead.
I started to stitch the flowers on last night, so it’s loosing some of it’s deathly qualities.
