A Blustery Day

March 31, 2009

Well, it’s certainly still winter in the Northland. It’s been blizzarding here all day. We’ve got a lot of heavy snow and high winds. I got the morning off from work and the evening off from night class, so I only had to go to my two afternoon classes today. Which is a good thing because it was more this kind of a day:
A ‘snowstorm’ mocha (that’s what they call a white mocha on campus) that was free with my punch card and the leg of the angee sock completed. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to stay at home under a blanket with a hot, delicious beverage and some good knitting.

Thank you for the well wishes on post #100. I’ll have Sweetie pick a random comment number on Friday, so you still have time to leave a comment if you haven’t already. However, only comments posted to my 100th blog post will be entered in the contest.

Wah! I miss the Northern Shores coffee shop! Among about a million other things about Duluth.
