Weekend Progress and Blurry Photos
There’s been a fair amount of knitting around here recently. I finished the body of Vivian last night:I popped into the LYS this morning and balled up another skein of yarn so that I can cast on a sleeve tonight (likely during Glee!). I was there in the first place to drop off these:They’re the first mitten in both a sport and a worsted version of EZ’s Mittens for Next Winter from the Knitter’s Almanac. They’ll be on display at the shop as this month’s Mitten of the Month. I’m also offering a class on the project beginning Thursday evening.
Since I finished Vivian’s body and didn’t have another ball ready to start the sleeve last night, I turned the heel on this:
I cast on this sock last week at the Interdisciplinary Symposium in Rhetorical Studies. It’s the fingering weight version of the Railroad Rib sock, another class that I’m offering this summer.
Tonight is looking to be another night full of knitting!
