Slow and Steady Sake Socks
There’s some alliteration for you!
I’m not sure I intended this to happen, but I seem to be reaching for my Sake socks to knit at home and at the LYS.
In fact, I’ve been reaching for them often enough that the leg of the second sock is nearly finished. All of those twisted stitches make for some pretty slow knitting, but I find that I’m still able to chat with other knitters or watch a movie while working on this project. The sock should move even more quickly once I reach the foot and half of every round is in stockinette.
A couple of years ago, I would have been all over the complexity of this pattern, but I guess I’m less interested in crazy-complex socks than I was before. I never thought I would say such a thing, but there you have it.
