UFO Mondays: Glynis
Things are pretty exciting around here–I’m working away on my Doctor Who outfit and will share an update soon, and I spent the weekend attending lindy hop workshops at Penn State. It was a great way to gear up for PittStop Lindy Hop, which is coming up very quickly!
I finished my gorgeous Amiga cowl last week, which meant I needed to dig out something to work on during a lecture and a workshop.
Glynis, yet another second sock from my 2009 Sock Innovation challenge, seemed like a good choice since the charts aren’t too terribly crazy, and Sweetie will be really happy to get a pair of socks soon. Although, to be honest, he’d much rather I work on a Stephen West scarf he’s picked out…

Reason for abandonment: I was knitting all of the socks from the book to prepare for a summer class, so I’m sure I turned my attention to the next design.
Assessment: I’ll have the second sock done in no time. I hadn’t even started it before pulling the project out last week, and I’m already halfway finished with the leg. I’m also sure that this project will get some serious action this week since I have several workshops and lectures to attend.
