Quick Fabric Shopping Tip
Today I’m here with a quick tip about fabric shopping that may be totally obvious, but I find it helpful and thought I’d share.
I’m pretty much glued to my smartphone, so whenever I buy fabric, I snap a picture of the fiber content and care information. I always make sure the fabric itself is visible in the photo so I don’t have to worry about giving the images any sort of title. This way, even if I don’t cut into the fabric for quite a while after purchasing it, I know exactly what’s in it (or at least what the label said was in it) and can wash accordingly. Although, let’s face it, most of what I buy will end up in the washing machine if it seems like it can tolerate it regardless of the label.
PS: take a look at the label in the bottom left corner for the most ridiculous care instructions I’ve ever seen.
